7348 Dupont Avenue
A 3,399 square-foot single-story commercial building on Route 60 in East Bank, West Virginia, just a few hundred feet from the Kanawha River. The building dates to the mid-twentieth century in a vernacular Appalachian roadside-commercial style — long facade, central entrance, a mansard roofline added in a later remodel.
Verso Ridge acquired the property at a Joe R. Pyle public auction — a basis that reflects the work it needs, not the location it sits in. The property is on a highly trafficked route, has all public utilities, and is not in the flood zone.
Our first work after closing was administrative, not architectural: title cleared, back taxes paid in full, parcel reconciled with the Kanawha County assessor. Construction documentation and the rehabilitation scope follow from there.
